The Northern Ohio Branch of International Dyslexia Association (NOBIDA) is a local branch of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). IDA is a non-profit, scientific, and educational organization dedicated to the study and treatment of the learning disability, dyslexia as well as related language-based learning differences. NOBIDA’s mission is to actively promote effective teaching approaches and related clinical educational intervention strategies for people with dyslexia.
NOBIDA recently retooled their web presence but was experiencing difficulties with an event registration system. “We needed an event registration solution quickly to deal with an upcoming educational event,” said Laura Whiteman, C.I.S.A, Executive Director of NOBIDA. “We selected DonorPoint because it was quick and easy to define our event and attach the registration form to our website.”
“Our constituents were positive about the experience using DonorPoint for registration for the event.” NOBIDA also plans to expand their use of DonorPoint beyond this event. “We also selected DonorPoint for its ability to support multiple events and online fundraising from the same system”, Whiteman said. “We’re looking forward to using DonorPoint for future events and our fundraising.”
